Katrina Drewer is a digital marketing communications specialist dedicated to working in the business-to-business and service industry.
Katrina has over 30 years experience in the marketing services field with over 12 years’ experience in technology marketing and business development. She commenced her career as a marketing coordinator with Zurich Insurance Limited and was later appointed to the role of Marketing Manager. She was seconded as the Marketing Manager for Cigna Insurance, establishing their first in-house outbound telemarketing operation.
Katrina worked in London for 18 months and returned to Australia to take up a position with Telstra Corporation. In 1992 Katrina was seconded to Telstra’s operation in the United States for four years working as their Marketing Director in New York and San Francisco. Whilst living and working in the United States she gained local insight into and knowledge of one of the most competitive telecommunications markets in the world. Katrina returned to Australia to manage the marketing communications department for Telstra’s international business division.
Whilst at Telstra Katrina worked in a variety of marketing management roles driving corporate and product strategy, channel strategy and program implementation, customer acquisition and retention programs over a period of 11 years.
Katrina founded Creative Thinking Marketing in 2000 after successfully managing Telstra’s International Olympic Sponsorship – it was a great high to leave a company on! For the past 15 years Katrina has been a hired gun working with a variety of companies, almost 11 years of that time was dedicated to DIAL-AN-ANGEL as their outsource marketing manager.
Katrina has two amazing children and a very naughty rescue pup called Khloe (with a K!)
